A soap opera star was severely injured in a horrific accident in Los Angeles on Monday.
"The Bold and the Beautiful" star Linsey Godfrey had both of her legs
broken when a car veered onto the sidewalk and struck her, TMZ reports.
Godfrey had been moved from the wreckage by the time paramedics
arrived, and she was then rushed to the hospital where she went into
surgery, the report says.
The show's rep had no comment and an e-mail to her manager was not immediately returned.
Godfrey, 26, plays Caroline Spencer Forrester on the long-running
soap.
She was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006 and completed
treatment. She gave birth to her first daughter last year.
